You don’t need an extensive collection of instruments to participate in this course! In fact, a beautiful, transformative sound bath can be created with just a few essential tools.

For instance, your voice—through singing, toning, or humming—is an incredibly powerful instrument. Pair it with a single sound bowl, drum, or chime, and you already have a versatile foundation for creating healing soundscapes.

If you're working within a budget, prioritize quality over quantity. Investing in a smaller set of high-quality instruments will yield better resonance, durability, and results than a larger set of lower-quality tools. These thoughtfully chosen instruments will serve you well over time and enhance the experiences you offer.

Throughout the course, we’ll suggest specific instruments that are particularly supportive and engaging for different age groups. These are merely recommendations; what’s most important is selecting instruments that resonate with you. Trust your intuition and personal preferences—your connection to the instruments will elevate the energy and authenticity of your sessions.

Remember, it’s not about having every instrument but about creating meaningful connections through the ones you choose.

No, if you have not already completed a sound healing training you may still do this course. However, in order to qualify in this course you will need to complete a sound healers course with us (The Foundations of Sound Add on course) or with another training body.

This online course is a repeat of the September 2024 course.

All content is prerecorded and you will have instant access once you sign up.

You will be able to access all modules at the same time however it is important you work through the course module by module as some key information is shared earlier in the course and is not repeated in the later modules.

Yes! This course is fully certified by the CMA (complimentary medical association) and on successful completion of your homework & case studies you will be awarded a certificate which will enable you to confidently share your expertise in sound for children & acquire suitable insurance.

You will be invited to join a Whatsapp community group with Casey & your student peers. If you have any questions you are encouraged to ask them in there where Casey & the group can help you. Alternatively you can email casey@sensoryland.com with any questions you may have.

At the end of each module, you’ll complete the following:

1. Multiple-Choice Online Quiz

   • Test your knowledge with a quick quiz.

   • Get your results instantly! Didn’t score 100%? No worries—just revisit the content and retake the quiz until you achieve perfection.

2. Homework Sheet

   • Includes tasks and journal prompts for self-reflection.

   • These are for your personal growth, but you’re welcome (and encouraged!) to share your insights with the group for collective learning.

3. Case Studies

   • Complete three case studies for each age group (0-18 years).

   • You decide the format—whether 1-to-1 sessions or group settings.

   • After each case study, submit a reflective review. This will be personally read and reviewed by Casey, who will provide valuable feedback.

4. Module Review

   • A written reflection on your experience with the module.

   • Casey will review this and provide personalized feedback to support your learning journey.

Once you’ve completed all the homework for a module, simply email your submissions to Casey for review. Feedback and guidance will ensure you’re on track and thriving in your studies!

This is up to you and your learning style. Some students like to chip away at the course as they go along and the learning is fresh. Others prefer to consume all of the course content first and then do their case studies.

If you’re eager to complete the course quickly, the average time is around 13 weeks. This timeline allows for:

• 1 week per module to watch all videos, read the content, complete homework, quizzes, and plan case studies.

• 1 week for conducting your case study sessions and writing them up.

• 1 extra week for catching up or adding final touches.
